Banned Authors

Few author(s) intentionally violate publishing ethics which wastes the editor’s and reviewer’s precious time and sometimes they get successful publication without being caught. Author(s) should be serious while submitting their manuscript and adhere to publishing ethics. A false publication should be considered seriously by the research community as well as by the publisher. Our initiative for making a blocked author list available publicly might be helpful in reducing such misconduct.

In the past, we have blocked hundreds of authors due to serious and repeated author misconduct with a blocking period of 6 months to 5 years depending on the nature of the misconduct. But until now, we haven’t made their list publically available, it was only in the electronic submission system. Recently, serious author misconduct has increased and we have decided to create this public page which will contain the list of authors with the following misconduct-

  1. Stolen Submission: Verbatim copying of another’s work and submitting it as one’s own. Those authors who submit 100% plagiarised articles that were already published by other authors. The blocking period for such authors is up to 5 years.
  2. Duplicate or Overlapping Submission: The author submits multiple articles (with little change in the title and/or text to pretend as different articles whereas most of the contents are the same) to the same or multiple journals simultaneously. The blocking period for such authors is up to 3 years.
  3. Simultaneously Submission: The author intentionally submits the same article to multiple journals simultaneously. The blocking period for such authors is up to 2 years.

The following list contains banned authors who have been blocked from submitting manuscripts to AIJR publications for the mentioned period due to serious author misconduct. This list contains only few blacklisted authors with serious violations of the submission policy. This list is intended to be used for AIJR publications however, other publishers may also use it for extra care with these blocked authors. The author may resubmit the paper to AIJR publications after the ban has expired.

Editor(s) should carefully confirm the accurate identification of an author before rejecting a manuscript.
